Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 2, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Tests Pro (“we,” “us,” or “our”) approaches privacy when you visit testspro.org, complete quizzes or screenings, or view result pages. Please read it together with our Terms of Use.

1. Overview and our privacy approach

Tests Pro provides free online personality quizzes, mental health educational screenings, and education diagnostics for entertainment, learning, and self-reflection. We intentionally design most tools to run in your browser without requiring an account so you can get instant results while sharing as little personal data as possible.

In a typical visit you can open a test, answer questions, and view a score without creating a username, providing an email address, or uploading an identity document. Assessment answers used for scoring are generally kept in browser storage for the current session rather than stored in a permanent personal profile on our servers.

By using Tests Pro you acknowledge this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the site. If you have questions, contact the website operator listed for testspro.org.

2. Information we may process

Depending on how you use the site, the following categories may be relevant:

  • Quiz and screening responses. Multiple-choice answers, checkbox responses, and derived scores are processed locally in your browser (often via session storage) so result pages can display your outcome. In the standard free flow we do not receive your full item-by-item answer sheet into a user account database.
  • Technical and usage data. Hosting providers and optional analytics may process IP address, approximate location derived from IP, browser type, device category, pages visited, referrer URL, timestamps, and error logs. This data supports security, uptime, and aggregate product understanding—not reconstruction of your quiz answers.
  • Information you choose to share. If you copy a result link, download a share image, or post scores on social platforms, those actions are under your control and subject to the privacy rules of the destination service.
  • Communications you send us. If you email or otherwise contact the site operator, we receive whatever information you include in that message so we can respond.

3. Cookies, local storage, and session storage

We may use essential cookies or local/session storage so navigation, assessments, and result pages function correctly. Result pages may store a summary score or encoded result payload in session storage until you close the tab or clear site data. Clearing cookies and site storage in your browser settings removes those temporary records from your device.

Session storage is convenient because it lets you refresh a result page during the same visit without retaking every question. It is not a cloud backup. If you need to keep a result, use any share link or copy features the tool provides before clearing browser data.

If we introduce optional analytics cookies that are not strictly necessary, we will update this policy and, where required by applicable law, provide notice or consent mechanisms.

4. How we use information

Technical and operational data we receive may be used to:

  • Operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the website and hosting infrastructure
  • Understand aggregate traffic patterns, popular pages, and broken links
  • Detect abuse, spam, fraud, or attacks against the service
  • Comply with law, respond to lawful requests, or protect rights and safety when necessary
  • Communicate with you if you contact us first

We do not sell your quiz answers. We do not build advertising profiles from assessment responses in the standard client-side flow, because those responses are not uploaded as a personal answer archive.

5. Age, sensitive topics, and mental health content

Some assessments—including educational BPD and OCD screenings—cover sensitive topics. They are intended for adults (18+) or for use with appropriate guidance. By using those tools you confirm you are old enough to view such content in your region and that you understand screening tools are not diagnoses and cannot replace professional care.

Parents and guardians should supervise minors who browse education practice tests or entertainment quizzes. Tests Pro is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information to us through a contact channel, please contact us so we can delete it where applicable.

If you are in emotional crisis or thinking about self-harm, do not rely on email or this website for emergency help. Contact local emergency services or call or text 988 in the United States (or your local crisis line).

6. Sharing with third parties

We may rely on infrastructure providers (hosting, DNS, content delivery, analytics, or security vendors) that process technical data to keep the site online. Those providers act according to their agreements and privacy policies.

Share buttons or outbound links may open third-party services such as social networks, SMS apps, or educational resources. When you leave Tests Pro, their privacy policies apply. Review those policies before sharing health-related or other sensitive information.

We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or governmental request, or if we believe disclosure is necessary to protect users, the public, or the integrity of the service.

7. Retention and security

Browser session data remains on your device until cleared or until the browser expires the session. Hosting and analytics logs, if any, are retained according to provider defaults and only as long as reasonably needed for security, debugging, and operations.

No method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is perfectly secure. We take reasonable measures appropriate to a free informational site, but we cannot guarantee absolute security. Avoid posting highly sensitive personal data in public share posts.

8. Your choices and rights

You can:

  • Stop using the site at any time
  • Clear cookies and site storage in your browser
  • Avoid sharing result links if you prefer to keep outcomes private
  • Contact us about privacy questions related to communications you sent us

Because standard free tools do not create user accounts, there is typically no account profile dashboard to download or delete. Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict certain personal data we hold (for example in email correspondence). Contact us to make a request, and we will respond as required by applicable law.

9. International visitors

Tests Pro may be hosted or accessed from different countries. If you visit from outside the hosting region, your technical information may be processed in jurisdictions with different data-protection rules. By using the site you understand that such transfers may occur as part of ordinary web hosting.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as Tests Pro evolves—for example when we add features, change hosting providers, or respond to legal requirements. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the latest revision. Material changes may also be highlighted on the site when appropriate. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

11. Contact

Questions about this Privacy Policy: contact us via the website operator listed for testspro.org. For medical or mental-health emergencies, contact emergency services or a crisis line immediately rather than waiting for an email reply.
