How to Improve Your GAT Score (Domain-by-Domain Plan)

Raising a GAT percentage is easier when you stop studying “everything” and attack the weakest domain first. Use this plan after your free Tests Pro diagnostic.

  1. Step 1

    Record domain percents

Write reading, math, science, and social studies scores from your result page. Circle the lowest.

  2. Step 2

    Two-week focus block

Spend most practice time on that domain only—short daily sets beat one long cram session.

  3. Step 3

    Error journal

For each miss, note the skill (e.g., ratios, inference, civics). Review the journal before the next set.

  4. Step 4

    Light maintenance on strong domains

Do one short mixed review every few days so stronger subjects do not slip.

  5. Step 5

    Retake the free GAT

After 10–14 days, retake the General Achievement Test and check whether the target domain improved.
